It has been a while since we had an episode focusing on Raphtalia as much as episode 14 did. Of course, not all of the episode is dedicated solely to her. That should be the next one, if the episode title is anything to go by. Most of the episode is actually dedicated to trying to escape the soldiers that are after the party, taking a breather in a castle belonging to Melty’s friend, a noble, as well as rescuing Melty once again.
Throughout the episode, Raphtalia gets some flashbacks, a nightmare, and some other things that get somewhat explained and resolved by the end of the episode. Needless to say, we learn a lot about her past through those flashbacks and I am expecting the next episode to give us even more of a focus on her, since this episode made her share the “spotlight” with others.
Not much more to say this time around, the episode was interesting because of how cool Raphtalia is, there was action and we got a few new characters, at least one of which I hope will become somewhat of a regular. It mostly serves as a set up for the next episode and, as such, there isn’t a lot that I can really talk about. The episode was great and I look forward to the next one!
