The first character I played as is Kate Katana. She is a sword wielding, gun toting son of a gun that can move fast as well knock people down before they even see it coming. So far the graphics are really good if you’re into cyberpunk meets anime. But the game is about you playing as a bounty hunter that is hunting the best and most evil monsters and people out there.

There are 4 bounty hunters you can play as and they are as follows: Kate Katana whom I already mentioned. Then you’ve got Ivan Ironfist who fights with his fists which are made out of robot parts. Then there’s the up in your face Riot Ray who uses a shotgun and can also be a tank. The last bounty hunter is Shocking Shelly, she uses a staff that shocks and stuns people all around her so she can be good for crowd control. But I personally like Riot Ray when playing solo because you can keep your distance from enemies. I do wish there were more bounty hunters, such as one that uses an assault rifle for long range attacks. But who knows, maybe in future we could see that.

There is a progression system in the game which gives you cool titles, skins for your guns and bounty hunters, and also extra things you start out with depending on who you are. Now let’s get into details on how the game actually plays. You go from room to room fighting enemies and sometimes you find a secret door that leads to a challenge room, which I do not recommend doing solo because the game is hard enough already and the challenges are extremely hard. After you get to the end of the level, you come across a room with a vending machine which you can use in game currency, called food stamps, to buy items that will temporarily buff you for the next level. There is also a currency called computer chips, which can be used to give you health, buy ammo for your guns, and so forth.

Now let’s talk about the co-op. I played a few levels of the game in co-op and I have to say it went smooth for most part, but I think the game scales to how many players there are because we tried it on hard and felt it was the same on easy. Kill to Collect also offers different bounties each day as dailies along with some bounties you can repeat over and over again to get your rewards unlocked faster. And last but not least, you’ve got the game mode called War Zone which is where you endlessly go from room to room until you die, racking up those sweet, sweet points. I would have to say this game is quite fun if you have friends to play it with, or even just random people to go out there and hunt your bounties.

There is a good variety of different mobs that spawn, from robots that shoot lasers, to humans that wield either dual swords or shield and sword. Plus there is ton of explosive barrels and other things you can use to your advantage to take out the enemies a lot faster. What I think is that it’s a good game if you like room to room style games. And finally, I leave everyone with this. If you manage to get to the bottom of the floors you end up actually fighting a boss which is the bounty that you are hunting. As of now I am still doing the story, but it’s really challenging.

Pros
– Decent story
– Co-op works well
– Lots to be rewarded
Cons
– Lack of players to play co-op with
– Needs more bounty hunters
– Needs easier difficulty for when you play solo
