Not Dying Today is a 2d side scrolling brawler. You fight waves of zombies and other creatures as you progress through the game. The graphics are pretty good considering the game isn’t all that expensive but the game itself can often feel clunky. As you play you unlock new weapons and can upgrade them.  The game has three game modes which are story, boss arena, and endless mode. You can turn into a zombie through a transformation which was described as Dr.Jekyl and Mr. Hyde sort of feel. That said it is sort of confusing turning into a zombie and back, just doesn’t make sense. When you are mid of a combo you cannot roll out of a combo or cancel your actions. The biggest thing this game is missing is online multiplayer. The game does have local multiplayer but no actual online multiplayer. The game would benefit in a huge way by having peer to peer multiplayer or matchmaking.  The sound work does help the setting of the game, however there is just to much repetition in the sound effects.

AlexKnight2005 gives Not Dying Today a Drastik Measure 7 out of 10 (70)
