Kabe - The House in Fata Morgana (PC) Review

One of the best works of fiction I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Never took myself as a VN fan but this happily changed that. It never felt like a chore since it make a very good job of endearing itself to you with its wonderful characters. Oh that the soundtrack is amazing too. 10/10 would single handedly fund an anime for it.

His friends (mostly) don't try to counter his political ideals mainly because they are sycophantic and just as eager to return Hertford to the status quo as soon as possible. Ria is the oddity as she does disagree with his ideas at times, but is still willing to go through with his plans, mainly because they are similar to hers (or so she tells Darius). Don't forget that the government of Saarland is as corrupt as anything - it may be democratic, but it is still extremely corrupt. I suspect that is one reason why Wilfried wants a return back to the olden days - along with the fact that he was humiliated by government right at the start of the game, and he wants revenge as well. I mentioned the repeating lines to Sekai (more or less when the game came out), but they never did fix it.
