This week, we get episode six, a possible half-way point for the series and one of the best episodes yet. It manages to pull off both fetish stuff and comedy as well as the first couple of episodes did. Although the level of kink is hard to compare, it was definitely at a similar level.
First half of the episode is about a new invention which is supposed to replace the umbrella, that being an anti-gravity device which is activated when rain comes close to the person using it. It also has an unfortunate shape which then leads to plenty of laughs when it gets “stuck” somewhere, with the reactions of the characters to it being even funnier than the situation itself. Just like always, voice acting really made it great, but animation was great, too.
Second half can be described as nothing other than just wedgie fetish. Ueno is at it again, trying to embarrass Tanaka, this time by sumo wrestling him using a special belt that makes her stronger. Of course, it backfires when Tanaka is too thick to realize the way he’s trying to win is actually making Ueno embarrassed. Again, it is made much better by the voice acting, which is excellent.
There were no new characters this week. While this isn’t a problem, with only a month and a half remaining for the show, I have to express the same concern I did in the previous episode’s review. Hopefully, they don’t end up having to rush other characters. I don’t think it’s a fully relevant concern yet. As even with only a month and a half remaining, it’s still 12 stories since each episode is divided into two parts, but I would like some of these characters to also show up in more than one episode. As it’s going, it might only be possible to have them all show up once and maybe some of them twice.
Either way, finally, it seems we are back on track with the episodes being as kinky and as funny as possible. I can’t wait for the next one and I hope we get someone new in it.
