Starting out with this week’s report on episode 7 of The Promised Neverland, the story continues with a decision of importance, some reveal of important information to both parties involved, and a major cliffhanger for a character that has been on and off so far in the series. This week brings new ties, new truths, and a potential end for someone who is unknown.

The focus of this week, once again, shifts, going towards the entire team and Sister Krone, who both see some pretty big plot developments as characters and brings open this idea we have known some episodes ago about Krone’s true intent. This episode also leaves in question the fate of Sister Krone, as the ending was wide open beyond the extent of the letter and what it was about.

With this report, I felt it was a good time to bring up Sister Krone as a character and why her mysterious intent is so important so far to this series. While I will admit Krone to me felt off, even with her reveal earlier in the series, as you watch her sections of the episodes, you can catch this air of power seeking and the will to do whatever it takes to get it, which is why I think episode 6’s ending and the start of this episode made such a big impact to the overall story.

For me, my favorite part of this week’s episode was the camera or the use the group has in store for it. Remember that items have to be brought in, so to get this camera was obviously a thought out decision and their intent; while it remains unknown, future episodes will hopefully make it clear.

As a whole, I found episode 7 of The Promised Neverland to add a new twist to the story so far, as well as give an answer to what lies potentially beyond the wall for the kids, should this work. While I can’t say this is true, as Sister Krone is still untrustworthy to me, we will see.
