Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto is the tale of Sakamoto. We don’t know his given name, but we do know that he’s the coolest cat in town. He’s even cooler than the CoolCat Twitch emote, even. Everyday life is one hell of a ride when you’re so cool that your very existence drives people wild. Working part time, tutoring a friend, and even just making it on time to school can be adventurous for Sakamoto.
From the moment I started watching Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto, I had a feeling that I would enjoy a new series that’s slightly outside of what I like. The outrageous outtakes under the pretense of normalcy for Sakamoto’s life was a welcome addition to me. Recently, my internet has been pretty bad with its upload speeds, so I haven’t really been able to stream games on Twitch in the way I would like to do when not reviewing anime or doing things for the upcoming 12 Days of Indie charity event. My life was feeling a bit mundane.
However, this series was a fresh step of laughter. From battling with bees, to serving Big Wacs at WcDonalds, to hiding in a laundry machine, and even being called a perverted piece of trash by a teacher, Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto was definitely a treat to watch. With a MSRP of $69.98 USD, this will make a perfect gift for someone who needs a laugh. Christmas is coming up, after all.
